Track Name: Christmas Fire
There's a message of love, is anyone listening?
The snow may be glistening but the fire's gone out
On the world & his wife, those troubles and strifes,
Journeys through life that have gone off the rails.

As you put up the tree and hang up the holly,
Let's drink to our folly and toast a reprise.
'Cause we ain't worth a ha'penny if some still go hungry,
Stockings are empty all over the world.

We'll build a new fire and sing Merry Christmas
We'll throw on the old ways no longer believe.
This Christmas we'll make it we'll change it this Christmas.
I'll do it for you and you'll do it for me.

There's a message of peace but not for everyone
Some hurt & undone by those that they trust.
The bankers are lending and governments are spending
On weapons that are ending lives everywhere

So let's change this Christmas, we'll make this way the last.
Let's change the future as we burn the past.

The wise men have gone, and the shepherd has left us
Alone & reckless, we'll follow anyone.
Our guiding stars are celebrities.
Status, power & money the only gifts we care for.
Politicians an elite and most of the wealth in the hands of the few.
The eye of the needle?
A den of thieves?
Where's the message?
Where's the message?

Oh this Christmas, we'll make it, we'll change it this Christmas.
I'll do it for you & you'll do it for me.
We're building a fire & we'll burn down the old ways.
If it's not this Christmas, next Christmas we'll succeed.
